What it is

A web platform is more than a brochure website — it can be a full online store, a portal for customers or partners, or a web application that manages content, users, and transactions. We build the platform around the actual flow a visitor or customer goes through, from the first interaction to completing the desired action (purchase, booking, quote request).

Problems it solves

Who this service is for

For companies that need a website or platform that does more than present information — an online store, a portal with authentication, or a web application with business-specific functionality.

How we work

  1. We define the structure and flow — how a visitor navigates, what action we want them to take, and what stands in their way.
  2. We build the platform — catalog, content, checkout, admin area, depending on the goal.
  3. We connect external services — payment processors, couriers, invoicing systems, or other required integrations.
  4. We launch and optimize based on real usage — we don’t assume the first version is final.

Typical features and deliverables

Possible technologies

Static generation for performance on content pages, dynamic components where interactivity is needed (cart, user account), a database for catalog and orders, and API integration with payment processors and shipping services.

Maintenance and evolution

A web platform doesn’t end at launch — it requires security updates, optimizations as traffic grows, and new features as the business evolves. See also maintenance and infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a simple website and an e-commerce platform?

A brochure website communicates information. An e-commerce platform manages a product catalog, inventory, cart, checkout, payments, and shipping — it's an application, not just static content. Complexity and cost scale accordingly.

Do you use existing platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce) or build from scratch?

It depends on the need. For a standard store, an existing platform can be faster and cheaper to launch. We build from scratch when specific functionality is required that doesn't fit a generic platform, or when full control over data and integrations is needed.

Can the platform grow along with the business?

Yes, it's one of the criteria we track from the architecture phase onward — a platform built correctly can accommodate new features and support higher traffic volumes without being rewritten from scratch.
